Location: Home General The Case Details page allows users to change the case name and add other case-specific information such as Case Number, Venue, Lead Attorney, etc. To edit the information visible on the Case Details page, users must click the edit icon from the Case Dashboard upon login as shown in the image below: Item Descriptions Case Name: This is the title of the case. This field is limited to 256 characters. Case Id: This is a read-only four digit number assigned automatically when the case is created. This can help with uniquely identifying the case. Case Number: General purpose field. This field can contain both text and numbers up to 256 characters. Case Type: General purpose field. This field can contain both text and numbers up to 256 characters. Venue: General purpose field. This field can contain both text and numbers up to 256 characters. Lead Attorney: General purpose field. This field can contain both text and numbers up to 256 characters. Trier of Fact: General purpose field. This field can contain both text and numbers up to 256 characters. Comments: General purpose field. This field can contain both text and numbers up to 1024 characters. Custom Designation: This is a default value for the Custom Designation field in any new production (on the Production Job page). The field can contain up to 256 characters, but should be limited, if possible, to around 50 characters to ensure that it will print correctly as part of a production. It is printed on the lower right of a page to the left of the Bates stamp.
