Nightly Maintenance Window

The Lexbe eDiscovery Platform (LEP) conducts nightly maintenance between the hours of 1:30 am and 3:30 am CT (“Maintenance Window”). This allows LEP to receive the updates required to ensure LEP continues to operate efficiently. During this Maintenance Window, Users may experience a significant delay while working in LEP during this time.  

All processes affected during the Maintenance Window

The following processes will be impacted during the Maintenance Window:

  1. Uploading documents;

  2. Redacting documents;

  3. Annotating documents;

  4. Creating and running a production;

  5. Any Multi-Doc updating using Excel; and

  6. Creating and downloading Briefcases.

Users will not be able to review what was done in any of the above-mentioned processes until the Maintenance Window has closed and processing has completed. Once the Maintenance Window has closed, any processes that have been initiated will continue to run and complete by its respective place in the processing queue.

Specific Effects on Redaction and Annotation Editors

Users working on a document that needs to be redacted or annotated will not be able to access the Redaction or Annotation Editor during the Maintenance Window. If a user begins redacting or annotating a document before the Maintenance Window starts, users can continue making redactions or annotations. Please note that any redactions or annotations started prior to this window will remain in the system’s queue but will not be shown as applied, meaning there will be no PDF image available, until the Maintenance Window has closed and processing has completed.
