Service Description    

Professional Services - Technical Services, involves assisting clients in case, job or project specific services.  Technical services include the following:

Set up tags in the Lexbe eDiscovery Platform (LEP); copy or move data between tags.
Manipulate metadata or coding data in LEP
 or as part of load files.
Repair, edit or consolidate load files.
Prepare non-standard load file requests.
Move or copy files or data between cases.
Download metadata or coding data out of LEP.
Manual or semi-automatic file conversion, review or manipulation.
Prepare and run specialized project, case or reports.
Review discovery specifications and compare with LEP
 procedures and deliverables.
Consult with clients or third parties at client's request regarding technical aspects of eDiscovery processes, procedures or output.
Research questions regarding ESI; track ESI or changes; extract original copies of ESI from eDiscovery processing jobs.
Apply QC procedures.
Re-index or custom index cases.
Apply ESI technical procedures and prepare ESI reports.

While LEP 
Professional Services may involve legal proceedings or legal matters, and while certain LEP representatives have legal training or are lawyers, LEP and its representatives are not providing legal advice or services.  In addition, LEP representatives have no knowledge of local rules, a particular matter's procedural history, and an individual client's particular needs.  The LEP representative's advice is limited to general technical consultation regarding eDiscovery procedures, analysis of ESI you have provided, and administration and training in use of LEP.
