Users can create custom document sets from the Browse page for a variety of reasons including but not limited to pre-production review prior to running a full document Production Job; preparation of small data sets for quick review; or any other purpose for which a filtered group of documents might be needed. Once the Document Set has been created, it is accessible from the Discovery tab by selecting Document Sets.
Filter to and select the documents from the Browse page that you want to add to a Document Set using the Filters menu (see above) and/or by selecting the documents from the Browse Documents list. (See Doc Sets Fig. 1 below).
Once the documents have been selected, expand the Document Sets section from the Tool menu on the left side of the Browse page and select +Document Set to create the document set from the selected documents, and input a Document Set Name. Then, click Create Document Set. (See Doc Sets Fig. 2 below).
A confirmation box will appear asking you to confirm if you want to expand the selected documents to include the entire email families followed by the number of total documents that will be in the Document Set if you check the box to expand to email family. Make the desired selection and click OK. A processing step will be initiated creating the document set. (See Doc Sets Fig. 3 below).
If additional documents need to be added to the Document Set after it has been created), then filter to and select the documents and from the Document Sets section in the Tools menu, click the Dropdown under Add To / Remove from a Set and select the desired document set and click + Add. (See Doc Sets Fig. 4 below).
