Uploading Documents from Clio

This page outlines how to upload documents from Clio via the Third-Party Upload option on the Add Case Documents page.
Uploading Documents From Clio
Click + New Upload in the upper right corner.
Fill in the fields as needed. An explanation of each field is available below under Upload Dialogue Box Fields.
Click Third-Party Upload.
Select the applicable Third-Party from the dropdown.
Click NEXT.
If using this upload option for the first time, users will be prompted to login with their Clio account credentials. Once done, users will remain signed in to Clio. Users can unlink their Clio account via the Third-Party Applications page.
Click ALLOW ACCESS (Fig.1).
Once signed in, a list of all matters in the user's Clio account will be listed (Fig.2). Click on the appropriate matter to access the documents contained therein. Users may select an entire matter, or any folder(s) within a matter to upload. Please note, the following:
If uploading a folder that contains subfolders, the folder paths from Clio will be maintained in the Source FilePath metadata field.
Users can only upload folders from Clio. Selecting individual files for upload is currently not supported.
A maximum of 3,000 documents can be uploaded at one time from Clio.
Click Upload Folder (Fig.3).
The Upload Window will appear, and upon upload completion, click Close Window to return to the Add Case Documents page.
Return to the Add Case Documents page to review the rest of the process for uploading documents to LEP.
