With cloud-based services, data can possibly exist anywhere in the world. These services can provide data security, low maintenance costs, and the backup of your data. Even though using the cloud has plenty of benefits, tracking down and collecting cloud data can be difficult without the help of a trained forensic professional.
The Forensics Team at Lexbe can collect data from different cloud-based services, like iCloud, Google, Microsoft, Slack, Dropbox, and much more. By using the forensic tools at Lexbe, the type of data that can be collected includes photos, messages, documents, etc.

What We Can Collect
Amazon (Alexa, AWS, Shopping)
Apple (iCloud Real-Time Location, iCloud Backup, iCloud Data, iCloud Drive)
DJI Go 4
Microsoft (Office365, Exchange)
What to Expect
To collect cloud data, a Remote Collection Form must be completed. Clients can expect to provide the following:
The cloud account type
Any keyword or date-filtering parameters
The credentials of the custodian’s or entity’s profile.
If the custodian or entity has set up 2-step authentication for their profile, a call would need to be arranged with the custodian to ensure a successful login. For security purposes, custodian's are encouraged to change their password before and after the collection process has been completed.
Once the collection is completed, the data will be exported in the requested format. If desired, data can then be loaded into Lexbe or another review platform for review. Available export formats include:
Concordance (i.e. load file format)
