Self-Upload of Productions with Load Files
Location: Case >> Add Case Documents
General
The Add Case Documents page allows for the self-service upload of documents to the case, including the self-upload of incoming eDiscovery document productions with Concordance-like load files. The maximum size of the upload batch is limited by the user's Internet connection upload speed, which can sometimes be significantly slower than download speeds. One source to check upload speed is http://www.speedtest.net. If a production upload is ~100 GB or greater, please reach out to Professional Services at support@lexbe.zohodesk.com for assistance.
Pre-Upload QC of the Produced Data
NOTE: If the production is in a .zip file, you must unzip it before uploading.
1. Once unzipped, the production data for upload should contain, at a minimum, the following folders and files. If the folders are not named exactly as below, rename them to match the below):
a. DATA or LOADFILES (must contain both an .opt and a .dat file. If either of these files is not present, contact the producing party and ask for them. These two files are required for a successful upload.
(i) If the .dat and .opt files are loose (i.e., not inside a folder), create a folder titled DATA or LOADFILES and put them in it.

b. IMAGES or PDF (IMAGES must contain only .tiff and/or .jpg files; PDF must contain only .pdf files)
c. ORIGINALS or NATIVES (this folder may or may not be present. It is not required for a successful upload but must be included if it is provided.
d. TEXT (contains the extracted .txt files that will be added to the LEP search index).
2. See the images below for examples of acceptable folder names:
3. The following are sample folder names that must be modified to match the above:
OCR - must be modified to TEXT
PDFs - must be modified to PDF
NATIVE - must be modified to NATIVES or ORIGINALS
TIFFS - must be modified to IMAGES
LOAD FILES - must be modified to LOADFILES or DATA
4. Once the incoming data passes the above pre-QC checks, proceed with the upload.
