Master Date and Metadata Fields
This technical note describes the six (6) standard date fields that are automatically extracted as part of processing (when the metadata is available) when case documents are uploaded in the Lexbe eDiscovery Platform (LEP).
Location and Definition of Date Fields in LEP
Browse/Search Screens
LEP allows users to choose whether or not to view any or all of the six (6) date fields from the Browse and Search screens.
All date fields are part of the standard available fields and can be selected from the Field --> Choose Fields drop down menu located on the Browse and Search screens.
Document Viewer Screen (Disc Tab)
The six (6) date fields shown above can be viewed on the document level under the Disc Tab within the Document Viewer window.

Editing Date Fields
Only Power and account Admin users can modify five (5) of the six (6) metadata fields listed above, and only by using a specifically created and named Excel sheet combined with the step of uploading the Excel into the case through the Add Documents tool. Standard users and above can modify the Doc Date field on the document level by using the Multi Doc Edit tool.
